Our Installation Process & Care Guidelines

At Design Flooring Centre, our teams coordinate to manage your flooring project from start to finish. Our installation team consists of the scheduling department, installations teams and warranty follow up. Together they function to create impeccable service experience for each client. The scheduling department is your first point of contact that organizes installers and material for your project. Our flooring professionals have the knowledge about your products and will provide you with maintenance guidelines to properly protect and care for your new floors. 

Key Steps to an Installation Done Right & On Time

Clear communication between sales and installation teams are critical to ensuring quality, accuracy, and timing at every stage of the project. Our full time production schedulers work with your contractors and our installation teams to keep everyone updated with the progress of your project. 

  • Site Visit The initial site visit helps us understand the customer’s vision, determine what materials will be required, provide an estimate of the costs involved, and help the customer consider financing options, if required. We will then prepare a preliminary layout, add relevant comments, and answer any questions you may have.

  • Ordering and Scheduling Pick the products you like from a myriad of choices, and leave the rest to our ordering team. Each order passes through multiple checks to ensure that you get the right product and on time.

Depending on product availability and arrival, we devise a schedule around your convenience. We determine a timeframe for each job, ensuring that they are completed as per your requirement.

  • Production The installer will perform an initial walk through with the customer to double-check that the details handed over to them are accurate and review the project schedule. Our qualified professionals and other tradesmen will be updated beforehand with project details and client expectations so that they can get started right away.

Depending on product availability and arrival, we devise a schedule around your convenience. We determine a timeframe for each job, ensuring that they are completed as per your requirement.

  • Quality Control Once the tradesmen have completed their job, our quality control team accompanied by the installer will conduct a final inspection. This walk-through will involve reviewing the work done to ensure that our quality standards are met. Any concerns or issues found will be addressed immediately.

All the observations will then be documented in our quality report that is prepared upon the completion of every project. Details such as humidity levels, temperatures, etc., will also be jotted down. All the details are then inputted into our database for quality control and warranty purposes.
